Delicious Prime Rib. Great waiter & great salad bar. The only complaint I have is its too smokey in the room with the salad bar from the grill.

The service here has always been great. Amazing open fire grilled steaks and salad bar is always fresh. Popovers are a plus!

We made reservations in advance for the patio. Despite being the only ones outside, our service was prompt and friendly. Food was tasty with large portions.

They are well known in this area for real yummie food.

Wonderful service. Soup was homemade. Salad bar was fresh. Loved the pop overs with berrybutter. Filet was tender and perfectly cooked. German potatoes, I could have passed on. Likewise with augratin, seemed dry. Not much for desserts. Nice place. Awesome smells from food when you walk in.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. There is a great salad bar. There also was two different sections to sit in, the bar area or dining. The dining area you are able to watch the chef cook your meal

Drinks were properly made and food was delicious! Pork chops and ribs were delicious as well!

The steaks are amazing. It's difficult to find a place that can correctly cook a rare steak, but they can do it here! Also, the waffle fries are awesome.

This restaurant serves very good basic food. We attended a large banquet here and while the staff pulled off the event very well, the food was nothing more than basic good. Roast beef (or ham), carrots (overcooked) and potatoes. Salad was very small and also very basic.The atmosphere is great as it overlooks the lake, but having eaten here several times over the many years I've visited Glenwood, there is just nothing extremely positive about it. We have also eaten off the menu and my comments are the same...good, basic food, nothing more.

Our daughter's wedding reception was held at the Minnewaska House and they did an excellent job! We had a sit-down dinner and the food was hot and fresh for all of our guests. The service was excellent and Angie and Darren were very accommodating. Their staff (servers, bartenders, chefs, etc..) were outstanding and they even had a shuttle bus to take our guests to and from the hotel (which was 28 miles away). The florist, who also decorated the back room worked well with Angie. I would highly recommend this place for any type of event.
